She makes such an amazing baby! You MUST check her auction out, you will not regret it. I even made her little blue romper you see in the auction. I am no expert seamstress but sewing is a lot of fun! My babies will not have the option to come with hand made clothing. Click the image below to see her auction.
As you all know I just LOVE Esme and had debated on painting hair on her however her head just begged for rooted hair so I am going to be extremely busy making sure her hair turns out perfect! She should be available in a few days as I have found Delta Dawn mohair roots so much easier than any hair available on the market! I highly recommend them!
Here is a sneak peek of the sweet girl...
I have also been working on little Polly by Rachel Maynard, adorable kit and makes the perfect sleeping baby girl. She will have painted hair and will debut soon as well! In the meantime here is a sneak peek!
Please welcome little Liam by Marissa May. He is stunningly detailed from his hair all the way down to his teeny toes. You will NOT want to miss this little guy!
You can check out his auction HERE!
He is just on ebay for 3 days so don't miss him. His price can't be beat!
Here are a few photos of the little guy...
I got my Esme kit in today from Laura Lee Eagles and I am blown away at how real she is. This is going to be by far my favorite full body sculpt I have had the honor to work on to date. Laura has more than outdone herself on this one.
She is a full newborn sized baby with full arms, legs and a full body vinyl female torso. The detail on this sculpt is just incredible down to all her tiny creases and the posing of her hands and feet. The legs are bent ever so naturally for a newborn baby and I love how she looks even just temporarily assembled.
I am going to be trying some new techniques on this baby for sure. I thought about doing a WIP as I go along but not sure yet on that. In the meantime I did snap a photo of her blank vinyl that I will share with you all :)
Stay tuned tomorrow for photos of Junior by Cassie and Rachel who is going home to her mommy and finished photos of Caleb as well.
These two kits are amazingly detailed but I expect no less from Laura Lee Eagles. Every kit she produces I love and I had the amazing opportunity to bring these two to life for a member on Facebook.
They still need their wispy lashes rooted but will be staying bald at mommy's request. They do certainly have the perfect head shape for it. I can't wait until their new mommy sees them in person. Wish them a safe journey home tomorrow.
Spending the day painting and rooting, all custom orders but I also have some special babies that will be ready for adoption coming up as well.
I must say I love Laura Lee Eagles sculpts, so detailed and realistic. They always turn out to be amazing babies once finished and I can't wait to share my Bean and Sprout I have been working on for a customer on Facebook. Keep a look out here for photos of them coming in the next couple of days.
In the meantime I will share photos of little Caleb that I have been working on by Heather Boneham This is a very tiny 14" baby. He is not for sale sorry, he already has a special mommy he will be going home to. He is still a WIP, final photos will be posted when I have them.
I also have a sneak peek of a Junior baby girl by Cassie Brace and Rachel Maynard coming soon!
I can't wait to share with you all what I have been working on lately, quite a few babies to come!
In the meantime I would like to share some of the cheesecloths I have dyed recently, loving the vivid colors. These are perfect for photo shoots! I do make and sell these so if you are interested in them and even headbands, Contact me!
I have this sweet little girl ready for adoption before ebay at an awesome price! She will be $375 which includes shipping in the continental US. Just contact me through my contact form on my Contact Me page and she can be yours.
She is created from the Lexi sculpt by Sandra White, such an adorable face! She has painted hair which is extremely easy to manage as it will never mess up and you can change her as often as you'd like without worrying about it! Her lashes have been rooted to match.
She has 3/4 jointed arms and full jointed legs on a doe suede flesh toned body. She is 4 lbs 3 oz weighted with fine glass beads and I used premium polyfil so she is so cuddly!
She will come with one complete outfit, a onesie, headband, hair bow and pacifier. She will come wrapped in a receiving blanket with an extra diaper. Certificates will be included as well.
Here are a few photos of her, adorable!
Please head over to my "Reborns for Sale" page and check out my latest little girl on ebay! She is my favorite creation to date however that could change at any time with any new doll.
I did an entirely new photo shoot with this one, decided to start using the sunlight from outside through a window and am so pleased with the results that I will be doing all future shoots (provided there is enough daylight) in this fashion. I hope you enjoy looking at her photos! A lot of hard work was put into her photoshoot to make it perfect. Please take some time to have a look at her. Here is one of my favorite photos of her:
And another that I decided looked perfect in black and white!
Again please go check her out, she turned out so beautifully!
I have decided to start blogging my journey as an artist, not only with reborn dolls but also with every other form of art I have taken a part in. Right now my main focus is my reborn art because I find the most joy in it. Every doll is just so much fun to create, seeing them come alive with each layer of paint and then the satisfaction of holding them, dressing them, etc when they are done makes it entirely worth all the work that goes into them.
That being said, a ton of time, hard work and money on my part is spent on this hobby turned business of mine and although at times it can be stressful it is worth every minute. I think the biggest part of what makes it all worth it for me is when one of my dolls goes home to their new mommies and I get those words of delight and complete joy from a customer, there is nothing like it!
I want to share every part of my art with all my dolly friends and doll lovers around the world. I decided to start this blog to share every moment of this art with you all and some other things in between so feel free to follow along if you'd like. I will try to post at least a few times a week and my goal is to post something at least every day but we will see.
